La Familia Soundstage is at 836 Guilford Avenue in downtown Baltimore. Guests can park free in our lot or on nearby streets, reserve a garage space a short walk away or hand their keys to our valet team.
Free Main Lot
About 60 spaces beside the venue, free and first come, first served. It is shared with the community, so it fills during the day and on weekend evenings.
Street Parking
Street parking on the blocks around the venue. Some blocks are metered during posted hours, so check the signs; pay at the meter or with the Flowbird app.
Pay with FlowbirdGarage Parking
The LAZ garage at 601 North Calvert Street, beside Center Stage, about a five-minute walk. Reserve a space in advance to guarantee a spot.

When the Lot Fills
The main lot is shared with the surrounding community, so it is busiest during the day and on weekend evenings. On those dates, plan on street parking, the garage or valet.
Valet Service
Valet is available for any event through our exclusive valet partner, Above Par Valet Services. We recommend it for events of 100 guests or more. It is optional, and hosts can add it when they book.

Every event at La Familia is staffed by our in-house security team, at the level Baltimore City requires for the size of the event. House security covers the venue and the parking lot from doors to close.

- Additional guards can be added for $250 per guard.
- Hosts may bring personal security in addition to the house team, working under the direction of La Familia security.

How many guests can La Familia Soundstage hold?
Up to 300 guests in a 5,200-square-foot open event space at 836 Guilford Avenue in downtown Baltimore. The floor can be set for theater seating, banquet tables, a standing concert, a conference or a production set.
What kinds of events do you host?
Concerts, comedy shows, galas and fundraisers, weddings and receptions, birthdays and private celebrations, corporate events and conferences, repasts and memorials, film and video shoots, podcasts and live streams.
How much does it cost to rent La Familia?
Prices are starting rates. Hourly rentals start at $400 per hour with a four-hour minimum, Silver starts at $1,600 and Gold starts at $2,500, and the full-production Platinum package is priced by quote. Weekday packages have a $1,600 minimum, and Friday, Saturday and holiday dates are prorated. Every booking includes an on-site venue manager, and financing is available on all packages. How do I reserve my date?
Send a request through Book Your Event or call 410-885-4572. We confirm availability, walk you through options and send a proposal. Your date is reserved once the signed agreement and deposit are received.
Can I tour the venue before I book?
Yes. Tours are available in person or by video call, so you can see the room, the stage and the layout options before you decide.
Can we bring our own caterer or bar?
Most hosts use our in-house catering team, which knows the room and the kitchen and handles menus, service staff and setup. If you have a caterer you would like to use, let us know when you book and we will talk through the options. All beverages are served by the La Familia bar team, and outside alcohol and bartenders are not permitted.
Is there a kitchen for caterers?
Yes. The catering kitchen has refrigeration, food warmers, a stove and fryers, and it sits steps from the main floor.
What sound, lighting and AV come with the room?
The room has a performance stage, stage lighting, an LED video wall and wireless handheld microphones, so speakers and performers do not need to bring their own. Gold adds plug-and-play audio and uplighting, and Platinum adds a sound engineer, live recording and live streaming.
Can La Familia be used for film, TV or video production?
Yes. La Familia is a working soundstage with 4K multi-camera capture switched live from our control room, multitrack audio with every mic and instrument on its own track, an LED video wall and broadcast-quality streaming. Production companies use it for shoots, music videos, podcasts and broadcast events. See Production.
Can you live stream our event?
Yes. We stream to several platforms at once with branded graphics and lower thirds, and we can deliver the recording and social clips afterward.
Is there a green room?
Yes. A private green room sits beside the VIP lounge for performers, speakers and wedding parties.
Where do guests park? Is there valet or security?
Guests can park free in our lot of about 60 spaces or on nearby streets, or reserve a garage space a short walk away near Center Stage.
